Suckers in vegetative propagation
A sucker is another kind of vegetative stem structure. Plants like bananas, plantains, raspberries, and cherries have suckers that grow from the base
of the stem of the parent plant. Suckers start from the underground stem and shoot up to the surface. To propagate suckers, the division method is used.
The new suckers will grow to become mature plants that will also produce new suckers.
